Better Baseball LLC is the coming together of years of education, training, passion, and vision of our athletes and coaches. Our coaches have Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Exercise Physiology, experience working with a D1 university football and baseball strength and conditioning program, and training in nutrition. Ensuring out coaches are helping our athletes develop in all aspects of the game. With our knowledge, experience, and our individual approach to training our athletes we have been able to maintain a college commitment rate of 40%. Well above the national average of 10% for High School baseball players.

 

While our baseball journey began when we were much younger, even before our time playing at the collegiate level. Our passion for sharing out love of the game and out knowledge started when God placed us in a position to continue to and mentor young men and families as head coach for a local High School during the 2016 and 2017 spring seasons. During this time we began individual training sessions and carried this training to Crestline, OH where we installed an outdoor cage. We worked with quite a few athletes during the warmer months, some driving up to 65 miles to train once a week.

 

In the summer of 2019, we took on coaching travel teams. This team was the Easton Prospects out of Columbus, OH, an elite travel team at the 17u age level. In the summer of 2020, 10 out of 13 of the Easton Prospects players went on to commit to colleges to play baseball. At that time we felt God’s path was pointing us towards the next step in training and mentoring players rather than just looking at them as solely baseball players. We took the leap and created what is now Better Baseball LLC, building our indoor facility and what are now our evidence-proven, data driven programs. 

 

Above all, Coach Strome considers it an honor and a blessing to have a positive impact on our athletes’ journeys, both on and off the field.
